The Birdog employs DDSI (*Digitial Data Stream Identification) to positively identify the satellite of your choice. The Birdog is programmable and this new model will hold up to 64 different satellite signatures. You select the satellite you want to find and when you find it, the Birdog gives you 3 beeps and a visual "Found" indication.

It can be programmed to find Satellites for StarBand, Hughes, Dish, DirecTV, and many others.

It streamlines your setup procedure by allowing you to make certain that you are aligned and fine-tuned on the satellite of your choice before you ever connect the cables to the modem.

Comes with charging cords for 120VAC and 12VDC, and a couple of "Port Saver" F connectors, as well as the USB programming cord and a very helpful little pamphlet that details the programming procedure.
